On October 28th, 1994, aspiring film students, Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard, and Michael C. Williams, marched into Maryland's Black Hills Forest, set on filming a documentry about the urban legend of the Blair Witch, and never returned.
In the months following the disappearances, search parties were distributed along the forrest, yet neither people nor bodies were found. Various articles of clothing, destroyed camping equipment, and litter were found deep into the woods, possibly suggesting foul play surrounding the group's sudden disappearance.
